We came across a pride of lions who had stopped for a drink just after day break. I knew that I would be shooting directly into sun based on its position and where the lions were drinking. So I thought that if I got low enough and focussed on one of the pride I could create a cool silhouette. I picked out a young male and waited for him to raise his head from the water. Not only did he do that, he also turned slightly to his right and I was able to capture the dripping water from his chin! Sometimes I have to get a little creative in my compositions to capture the scene that is unfolding.
